Delete your Dentro account

You can ask us to delete your account and everything you put in it at any time. You don't need the app installed, and you don't need to give a reason.

From the app, in a minute

The fastest way, and the one we recommend: open Dentro, tap the account icon at the top right of the home screen, then Delete account. You'll be asked to sign in again — that's what stops someone else from wiping your archive from an unlocked phone — and then the deletion is immediate and complete. You don't have to write to anyone and you don't have to wait.

Without the app installed

Send an email to nifestudio.app@gmail.com with the subject “Delete account”, from the address you use to sign in. That's only so we can be sure the request is really yours: coming from any other address, we couldn't tell you apart from anyone else.

You can also open Support inside the app and send the request from there — it reaches the same inbox.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account:

• the account itself and the email address you sign in with;
• all your boxes, with names, categories and codes;
• every item inside them, with descriptions and photos;
• the uploaded photos, removed from storage as well;
• your marketing consent, if you had given it.

After deletion, the QR codes and numeric codes on your boxes stop working: scanning or typing them finds nothing. This cannot be undone and we cannot recover the data afterwards.

What remains, and for how long

If you had written to us through Support, that message stays in the mailbox for normal request handling; you can ask us to delete it in the same email.

Firebase's automatic backups may still contain your data for a limited period and are overwritten on their own — in any case nothing is left after 30 days.

Timing

We answer and delete within 30 days, usually much sooner. We'll send you a confirmation once it's done.

Deleting without closing the account

If you only want to remove part of it, you don't need to write to us: inside the app you can delete a single box (with all its items) or a single item, and the deletion is immediate and permanent.
